Forging Ahead.
Today's reading comes from James 1:12:
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him."
To many, trials seem to be just those parts of life that one has to go through to reach another 'high' in life. It's used as an excuse at times for people to get away from the responsibilities that are given to them. I'll leave it to you to ponder that one. Personally, I take trials as a chance given by God to improve ourselves to be better people, people who can develop the strength of character and will to face and endure hardships
For it is in the 'bad' times of our lives that we learn to trust in the strength of God and in the shelter of the Almighty; and in the 'good' times we learn to rejoice in God's wonderful love and providence.
Therefore then, let us contemplate on the verse and recognize that no matter how hard the trials maybe, there is always Christ, who gives us strength through intercession at the right hand of the Father. Let us always hold on to that fact no matter how seemingly insurmountable the odds and the situations may be. Quantum barrier tunneling is analogy enough. However, with God, the small probability of something 'tunneling' through an obstacle is magnified and is always a 1; because God will never let us go through more that what we can bear. He always seeks to prosper us and not to harm us.
So then, be strong! Those who are undergoing trial, be steadfast in the face of adversity. For you'll never be alone if you trust in Christ and in God. Never will you be alone.
If anyone needs someone to just listen to you or to just talk to you, not just about the nonsense in life but also just to be a friend, a brother; add me! My email address is uruha_thunder@hotmail.com
For you Lord Jesus, all for you.
Amen.
